There is a very unique sense of community both within and with out at Pilgrimage (PUCC). At its center, is an abiding sense of support that is genuine and always present. Caring is a word that is taken to heart. And kindness and consideration are not only extended to members but to those outside the congregation.

There is a true sense of connection. That connection is extended to a number of organizations, ministries and charities within the local community, as well the global community. Here are a few:

  • Must Ministries, is a faith-based organization that helps people in our community break the cycle of poverty and homelessness.
  • One Great Hour of Sharing, ministries that support disaster response, refugee assistance and resettlement, and community development, helping people find safe refuge.
  • Neighbors In Need,  Pilgrimage supports the UCC’s ministries of justice and compassion throughout the United States.
  • Family Promise of Cobb County, is committed to helping homeless families with children to achieve adequate and consistent income, stable housing, and lasting independence by mobilizing our local interfaith community.  13 host congregations within Cobb County, including Pilgrimage UCC, assist these families by providing lodging, meals, and caring hospitality for one week, four times each year on a rotating schedule.
  • Mission Trips, both inside and outside of the US, our Youth have helped many people in need, from repairing and rebuilding homes to feeding the hungry.
